Sapna Aggarwal, along with her husband, started Ansa Interiors in 2002 with an unflinching passion for interior designing. She is currently the Creative Director at Ansa & the HOD at The Draw Pad Design Institute. She has inspired & educated several interior design students through her lectures & workshops in colleges and institutes and has also been invited as a guest speaker for many respected interior designing colleges all over the country.
For almost two decades now, she has been focused on bridging the gap between education and market trends, helping various budding interior designers on the way.
She has been on the list of favorites for her creative and innovative designs and is considered an esteemed professional by many. Her multiple talents and skills have helped her throughout her career to live her passion for design and entrepreneurship.
She has been the proud recipient of the 2018 Global leaders awards, 2017 Reality leaders awards for best interior designer in Delhi & NCR the 2016 Leaders awards for the most admired brand for Interior Designing in Delhi & NCR. She has also been bestowed with the Igen top 50 Architect and Designers Award 2015.
Alongside that, she has been invited as the Judge to INIFD exhibitions, The jury at Society Interiors Durian Awards.

Tell us a little about yourself
Sapna Aggarwal: I am Sapna Aggarwal, creative director at ANSA Architecture and Interiors. ANSA Architecture and Interiors is a top luxury interior designing firm currently serving 6 countries & 36 cities.
I graduated from Lady Irwin College and acquired my professional qualification in interior design and decoration from IAD and a diploma in AutoCAD from CAD centre in 2001.
My creativity and passion for design pushed me to start my own interior design business along with my husband, Mr. Ankush Aggarwal.
Since then, ANSA Architecture and interiors has delivered over 2757 projects including residential projects, hotels, restaurants, salons, schools, offices, showrooms and more. I am also the author of the book โA comprehensive Guide to Interior Designing.โ
Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey
Sapna Aggarwal: I started my career as Interior designer, by starting Ansa as I gained my professional qualifications for being an interior designer.
Since then, we have learned and practiced, project by project and emerged out to be one of the top luxury architecture and interior design companies in the country.
My entrepreneurial journey so far has been extremely fulfilling for I love the creativity and passion I have been able to infuse into what I do in my everyday life and the connections and bonds we have created with our clients over the last 2 decades are invaluable fruits of this incredible journey.
I am grateful to everybody who has helped, contributed and connected with me along the wayโฆ be it our clients, our vendors, many esteemed panelists.

Sapna Aggarwal: At ANSA Architecture and Interiors, we specialize in creating luxury spaces for our clients. We offer both architectural and interior design consultancy for residential and commercial projects all across India, as well as in countries like Canada, UAE, and Nepal.
What is your biggest USP
Sapna Aggarwal: Itโs our will to redo until we reach perfection.
Most people working with architects and interior designers worry about actual results not looking like what they saw, imagined and approved on paper.
However, at ANSA Architecture and Interiors, we take pride in all of our clients expressing their shock and awe over how close the designs on paper are to what they got in reality.
What made you choose this type of business?
Sapna Aggarwal: This is a very creative business that challenges you to evolve and improvise daily. Itโs also very fulfilling to see your designs having a profound impact on peopleโs life. Both of these things eventually pushed me towards pursuing this as a career and I have loved it every day, since.
What was your mission and vision at the outset?
Sapna Aggarwal: Our mission has been to deliver luxury experiences to our clients that bring their dreams to reality.
As a business, our vision is to be the team behind the architecture and design of the top properties of the country.
What is your Leadership Mantra
Sapna Aggarwal: Consistent learning. We, as a company, heavily invest in upskilling ourselves and continuing our learning process. Itโs what I do for myself and ensure is followed and prioritized as I lead our team.

Sapna Aggarwal: We wish ANSA Architecture and Interiors to be the name behind the most exciting luxury properties all across India.
What was the inspiration behind turning into an entrepreneur
Sapna Aggarwal: I come from a family of exceptional business people. So, will most definitely credit my entire family for being supportive and inspiring me to pursue this.
What are some of the biggest mistakes youโve made?
Sapna Aggarwal: I think every failure and mistake is an opportunity in disguise, to improve and improvise. All of our failures and mistakes have led us to do things better.
For example, there have been a few difficulties in our early days with communication between people working on-site. So, we invested in having experienced site supervisors that are excellent at what they do and that keep check of whatโs happening on-site to ensure the result of our work is exactly as per client requirements.
Key things to consider before starting a Business
Sapna Aggarwal: Are you ready for the ups and downs that come with running your own shop? Things get rough before they get super good. You have to be in it for long enough to experience that.
Also, if youโre running a business just because youโre passionate about one thing, it may not always be the right move as running a business is more like jumping multiple hoops at the same time, most of which have nothing to do with what you love. For example, accounting or office management (unless you love doing that)!
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Sapna Aggarwal: Answered the above already. Almost the same question.
If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out, what would it be?
Sapna Aggarwal: Invest in learning from professionals. In your early days, you need the knowledge that often comes from experience. The only way to hack your way to that kind of knowledge at the very beginning is to work with industry professionals and learn from them.
Your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Sapna Aggarwal: Focus on learning and consistency. As you continue learning with an aim for consistent improvement, youโll get recognized as the best in your field. Thereโs nothing you canโt do if you do these two things over and over.
