Building the Future: An Interview with Sanjeev Bhandari, CEO of AirBrick Infra

An Exclusive Interview with Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, Founder and CEO of AirBrick Infra, Pioneering Commercial & Office Interior Design Services through Technology

In this interview, Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, Founder and CEO of AirBrick Infra, shares how he is revolutionizing commercial and office interiors through technology. His approach blends innovation, sustainability, and functionality to create inspiring workspaces.

What inspired you to establish AirBrick Infra, and what was your core mission at the start of this journey?

Sanjeev Bhandari : The idea behind AirBrick Infra was born out of a deep-seated belief in the power of innovation and technology to transform industries.

Having spent years building and scaling leading design and construction startups like Flipspaces and Livspace, I noticed a glaring gap in the commercial fit-out space—an industry largely dominated by unorganised players and outdated practices. Despite being one of the largest markets, it lacked a data-driven, transparent, and intelligent approach to design and delivery.

Our mission from day one was clear—to revolutionize the corporate interior design and fit-out industry through the seamless integration of artificial intelligence, automation, and human creativity.

We envisioned creating smart, sustainable, and highly functional workplaces that not only meet business needs but also enhance employee well-being and productivity. AirBrick Infra is our step toward making corporate interiors more intelligent, efficient, and inspiring.

The infrastructure and construction industry is undergoing rapid transformation with new technologies. How is AirBrick Infra leveraging these changes?

Sanjeev Bhandari : At AirBrick Infra, technology is at the very core of everything we do. We are redefining how commercial spaces are designed, built, and experienced by integrating AI, data analytics, and virtual reality into our processes.

Our AI algorithms analyze data on spatial layouts, employee movement, lighting, and ergonomics to create optimal space utilization and workflow efficiency.

We’ve also developed tools like auto-layout generators and design libraries that can shorten a traditional 21-day design cycle to just two days. Through VR walkthroughs and real-time design simulations, clients can visualize their spaces before execution—making decision-making faster and more informed.

Additionally, we’re deploying AI-driven sustainability modules to optimize energy consumption, material use, and cost efficiency—ensuring our projects remain as smart as they are sustainable. This fusion of tech and design gives AirBrick Infra a clear edge in an evolving, tech-forward industry.

What were some of the key challenges you faced while setting up AirBrick Infra, and how did you navigate them?

Sanjeev Bhandari : Like most entrepreneurial journeys, ours was filled with both excitement and challenges. Establishing AirBrick Infra meant entering a space that was already competitive and fragmented. One of our earliest challenges was securing adequate capital and assembling the right team to match our ambitious vision.

We overcame this through strategic budgeting, leveraging personal savings, and building a passionate founding team that believed in our mission. Our journey taught us resilience and agility—qualities that continue to define AirBrick’s DNA today.

What strategies are you currently focusing on to expand into new markets or regions?

Sanjeev Bhandari : In the coming months, AirBrick is focused on scaling both within India and internationally. On the global front, we’re preparing to enter Dubai, a market that aligns with our vision for premium, future-ready workspaces. These expansions are part of our larger mission to deliver design excellence and set new benchmarks in workplace innovation.

In an industry that is both competitive and capital-intensive, what differentiates AirBrick Infra’s value proposition?

Sanjeev Bhandari : AirBrick Infra’s biggest differentiator lies in its AI-first approach to commercial design and build. Unlike conventional fit-out companies, we blend cutting-edge artificial intelligence with human creativity to deliver data-driven, adaptive, and personalized workspaces.

Our proprietary AI systems enable predictive space planning, generative design options, and real-time project tracking—ensuring faster turnaround times and superior cost efficiency.

We also integrate sustainability and well-being into every project through smart material selection and energy optimization. Beyond technology, our value proposition is our end-to-end delivery model—from design consultancy and general contracting to project management and sourcing.

This 360-degree control allows us to maintain high quality, consistency, and transparency across all stages of execution. Simply put, AirBrick Infra stands apart because we don’t just build offices—we build intelligent environments that evolve with businesses.

Where do you see AirBrick Infra in the next decade in terms of growth and market presence?

Sanjeev Bhandari : Over the next decade, I envision AirBrick Infra becoming India’s leading AI-driven design and build brand with a strong international footprint. We aim to transform how businesses perceive and experience their workspaces by making them dynamic, responsive, and sustainable ecosystems.

In the long run, we aim to make AirBrick synonymous with innovation, intelligence, and impact in the global design and build ecosystem.

What steps has AirBrick Infra taken toward promoting green building practices and sustainable infrastructure?

Sanjeev Bhandari : Sustainability is one of AirBrick Infra’s core values and a guiding principle in every project we undertake. We integrate AI-enabled sustainability practices into our design and construction processes—from optimizing natural light and ventilation to selecting eco-friendly materials that minimize carbon footprint.

Our AI systems monitor energy usage, material efficiency, and waste reduction, ensuring that every workspace we deliver aligns with global environmental standards.

We also encourage the use of modular furniture, recycled materials, and low-VOC finishes to enhance indoor air quality and promote long-term well-being.

Beyond our projects, we’re building awareness among clients about the benefits of sustainable infrastructure—not just from an environmental perspective but also for cost efficiency and employee health. For us, green design isn’t just a trend—it’s a responsibility toward a smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable future.

Mr. Bhandari’s vision positions AirBrick Infra as a leader in tech-driven design, transforming workplaces into efficient, modern, and future-ready environments.
