Can you share the story behind the founding of Mayon Infra Project Private Limited? What motivated you to enter the infrastructure sector?
Raghava Prasad S: Having gained experience as an electrical site supervisor, I entered the business sector as an electrical contractor for commercial projects. Inspired by a friend in the infra industry, I aimed for innovation and expanded our services, which led to the start of Mayon Infra.
I was passionate and was always keen to learn new trends, the breakthrough came when I saw the opportunity to enhance our services by incorporating international standards with our local expertise in construction for turnkey projects.
How does MIPPL differentiate itself from other companies in the infrastructure industry?
Raghava Prasad S: Our unique position in the infrastructure market is defined by our dedicated adherence to client requirements and project deadlines.
We prioritize and establish active communication with our clients, ensuring financial considerations are respected.
Our advantage lies in our carefully selected team of engineers and project management experts, who drive our exemplary performance. I ensure to personally visit each project site regularly to check on progress, reflecting our dedication to quality and client satisfaction.

What types of projects does MIPPL specialize in, and what has been your most significant project to date?
Raghava Prasad S: MIPPL is engaged in multiple infrastructure projects, transforming various green field, grey field and brown field projects into high-tech facilities.
Our projects extend to designing customized office spaces and developing hospitality properties of luxury hotels and resorts.ย
Our most remarkable project was transforming an office space to a state-of-the-art facility for an American multinational financial services corporation spanning approximately 200,000 square feet in Bengaluru.
ย Mayon Energy division complements our offerings with expertise in industrial control panels and electrical system designs for various industrial applications.

How do you approach sustainability and environmental considerations in your infrastructure projects?
Raghava Prasad S: In our projects at MIPPL, being eco-friendly and taking care of the environment are key priorities.
We choose materials that are eco-friendly and sustainable products that donโt damage the environment, and this reduces our overall environmental footprint.
We are careful during construction to prevent soil contamination and make sure that we dispose of all waste through the proper channels to avoid environmental damage.
Weโre also focused on using technologies that save energy and construction practices that save water. We aim to build projects that have as little negative effect on the environment as possible while improving life for the communities we serve.
With this mindful method, weโre making sure that we meet environmental laws and set a positive example in the infrastructure sector.
How do you ensure that your projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety?
Raghava Prasad S: We prioritize excellence in quality and safety by strictly adhering to top international standards.
Our operations are certified by ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001, reflecting our dedication to environmental management, occupational health and safety, and quality management.
To ensure the safety of all our workers, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory across all our project sites. Worker safety is our utmost priority, and we enforce strict compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) standards.
Our commitment extends to rigorous safety training and awareness programs for our team/workers, ensuring they are up to date with the latest safety protocols and prioritize site hygiene. This comprehensive approach helps us to meet the required quality and safety standards.
